I guess I'd never stayed in a 3 star hotel before so didn't know what to expect but boy was I shocked when we arrived. From the moment we entered the room I was on the phone trying to find other accommodation. The room was horrible and stank. Reception quickly offered us another room once I asked for a refund. The second room was bare able. Apart from being old and the bed resembling a con rear slab it was liveable. The shower was actually amazing with great pressure but that's where it ends. The staff speak very little English and weren't very helpful. The lifts take ages to arrive during the busy periods and then the locals will punch in front of you anyways. The food in the restaurant was ok but over priced for giblets and rice. All in all I wouldn't recommend it unless you are used to living on a budget

Booked because it was close to the fair but we left as soon as we saw our rooms. Four in our group and all four rooms were as bad as each other. On par with a grubby backpackers. What other reviewers got I don't know but for me never again. Truly, what a disgusting place (mattress had so many stains and the room was like a public toilet). It's been over a month and still no hint of a refund.

The hotel has what it advertises for however the Internet is a slow to meet today internet standard speed and performance.
How its location is good for Canton Fair or other exhibitions around the area.

The room was dirty. Towels and sheets smelled. Walls were dirty. The worst part was the bathroom. There was water leaking from the ceiling above our sink, cups of water spilling to the floor. There was a leak around the toilet/shower area so that there was always a pool of water in the area. There was a tube coming out of the ceiling that drained water from the shower above us into our shower. Two free bottled waters each day and hot buffet breakfast was very good. The other person traveling with us complained about her room and had to look at 5 rooms before she finally chose one that was acceptable and want through a handful of pillows to find one that didn't smell.

Hotel is ok 8 minutes walking to the fair. Location is only good for the fair. 20 min from City nothing open after 9 pm. A little pricy for rooms and service. Acceptable breakfast. Nice staff very helpful
