What a fabulous place to stay..
we stayed here on our first visit to Hobart and again on our second..
close to all the amenities and city and right on the harbour..
We loved that it had a little kitchenette and washing / drying machine..
The staff are so friendly and our room was serviced daily.. There is a wonderful cafe attached out side to the apartments which had the best coffee in Hobart..
Thank you for our fabulous stay, will be back next year...

A night in Hobart

Good hotel. Great staff. Clean. Nice amenities in room including washing machine and full kitchen. Excellent location. Parking a bit tight. Rooms large. View from first floor non-existent. Staff is not there 24/7, so call ahead if you are going to have a late check in.

Very good functional accomodation

Just spent 3 nights here and was a really good base for visiting Hobart, well located on the waterfront with easy access to the best of Hobart.
Apartment was clean and had everything we needed for our stay with full cooking and washing faculties and apartment regularly serviced.
The staff were extremely helpful to any requests we made.
Just a few points to note for future travelers.
" Boutique" does not mean luxury so expect clean and well stocked accommodation but not super luxury
Ask for a high room with view. We had the Harbour Terrace room which had a massive terrace bit no clear view of the beautiful harbour.
I am told ( but did not experience) the rooms facing the road which can be noisy.
Otherwise does the job very well...

Very good , only a couple of downsides

Our studio apartment was very good. It had everything that we needed. It is in a great location. Right opposite the Grand Chancellor Hotel overlooking the harbour. 10 mins walk to Salamanca area along the waterfront. The apartment was a good size with a little kitchen area with tea, coffee , salt, pepper and dishwashing liquid. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Comfortable bed. Good wi- fi. Downsides - no curtains so it was hard to get room really dark, we were facing the road so it was a bit noisy ( ask for a sea facing room if possible). I had chosen it specifically for the in room laundry facilities. I was disappointed. It was a combined washer/dryer and the dryer took forever. You could not dry a large load very easily. They did provide washing liquid. We got the Redline Airport Shuttle bus from the airport. It was great. Book ahead to get cheaper fares. Book to the Grand Chancellor stop. It dropped us right outside the Zero Davey apartments and the pick up is just 50 yards away in Campbell St, outside the hotel.

Great location, but noisy rooms

The rooms cannot be faulted, they have everything you need (and more). Very handy to have a kitchen. Staff was very kind, and the location withing walking distance of Salamanca markets and other popular tourist spots.

BUT, every day I was woken up at 6:30 am as the cars and trucks drove by. I wore earplugs but still was woken up. This meant I couldn’t get a full night’s sleep in, and that I was dozing off during the day. How bad was the sound? I travelled here on an international flight, it was the equivalent of me waking up at 3:30 am every morning. As much as I’d like to sleep through it, I couldn’t.

My room faced the street – if you can choose a room that doesn’t face the street, it would be much better.
