Nice place to relax and enjoy

Stayed at this resort for 3 days and 2 nights. It is a small and quiet resort having only 11 rooms which are well maintained. Nice place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Kodaikanal. It is a scenic beauty and the valley view is superb.
The bus stop and town is very near and can be reached by walk. Might be a little difficult for ladies and kids as it is a steep uphill from the resort to the bus stop/town. You can purchase homemade chocolates and handicrafts from the town. Croakers Walk and the Kodai Lake is very near the resort. Also there are a number of agents in the bus stop who offer city tours at Rs. 300 per head.
The resort is ideal for young couples. Unlike other Mahindra Resorts like Pondicherry etc, there is no activity whatsoever for kids which is the only drawback.
Food at the resort is good but very expensive. There are lot of cheaper and better options in the town like Hotel Astoria and Tava (Veg). For Non-Veg there is Hotel Hill Top.
Staff are very polite, helpful and courteous. Especially Ms. Shashikala Anbiraj at the reception. Overall it was a wonderful experience.
A good place to visit in any season.

The resort is close to Coaker's Walk. I have visited more than three times to this property and I am a club Mahindra member. My first visit to last one in May 2015, the property looks very good. It has only 11 rooms and out of that two of them are cottages. The room we stayed in was on the first floor, large, neat and well maintained. The view was breathtaking! We stayed for 5 days and had meals there. The food was decent. I like the idli which is very soft and tasty. The chef gives lots of attention to our needs and asked us how we liked the food. The staff were very helpful. The outdoor area was very nice to walk. A good place to visit in any season.
One of the best located property

The location , the maintenance , hospitality - One of the best in its class. Worth visiting this property again & again. If you get a choice , go for the cottages near the valley , clouds will be flowing into your rooms too....sitting out there in the early sunrise time is awesome. Good food options , nicely located near coakers walk.....nice place to visit.
Quaint and cozy place but average service

The resort is quite close to the town bus stop and the center, just a short walk. It has only 11 rooms and was sparsely occupied when we stayed. The room we stayed in was on the first floor, large, neat and well maintained. The view was breathtaking! We stayed for 3 days and 2 nights and ate few meals there. There was only ala carte. The food was overall decent, some were very tasty, some dishes were quite awful (we were served dal makhani that was on its way to the grave) and strange order of serving the courses (sambar came 10-15 minutes after idli and such) that was quite bugging, unprofessional, and made me wonder what kind of training they had. Good place to stay, eat out if there is ala carte. The kids section is not yet ready. The outdoor area was very nice to walk about
Just the food

We went for dinner for my birthday. We did not stay in the rooms as they were totally full. They only have 11 rooms, so very small. However the grounds were very nice and quaint. The view was really nice as well. The menu is rather limited, but everything we had was really nice. Since I had a specific time I had to eat, the staff were given our order earlier in the day, and they had it ready for us. The staff and chef came and asked us how we liked the food, and they were so nice and eager to please. They were definitely very customer oriented. We will surely be coming back again on our next trip.
