An ok choice for a short stay

We had a nice friendly welcome when we arrived in the afternoon. Rooms are clean with A/C and king-size beds, but those on the street side are noisy. They advertise as apartments but rooms are too small for that. There is a small fridge, a hot plate and some utensils and dishes, but nowehere to sit to eat! The hotel is pretty centrally located.
Breakfast was included, advertised as "american style" but was a buffet of standard toast, cereal, yoghurts, some cheese and a few slices of ham. Oh, and instant coffee in packets. We had to insist we wanted real coffee and it was made rather begrudgingly.
An ok stay for a short 2-3 night period, but not if you are looking for a true apart-hotel.
Comfortable, fairly modern hotel, but noisy . . .

My husband and I stayed here for several days in August 2013. The room was clean, with a modern sense of decoration. We had a comfortable king sized bed. The bathroom was decent -- the hot water was generated by a small unit that ran out of hot water right at the end of a shower. There was a small refrigerator (which was completely full of mini-bar supplies that we removed and put on top during our stay), plates/glasses/cups/silverware, a water kettle. The manager would have given us a microwave if we'd asked. Our room (standard) did not have any sofa or comfortable place to sit other than the bed. So, like other reviewers, I would call this more of a hotel than an actual apartment. I checked out one other option -- Azur Hotel -- which advertised itself a "boutique" hotel. I think Azur was probably a bit nicer in some ways (the lobby seemed more like a place to lounge), but Zoom was better located for us and a bit cheaper, and we were happy with it. One big potential issue if you are a late sleeper -- there is currently a large construction project across the street, which starts at 8 am sharp. It didn't seem all that close to being done, so I assume it will be ongoing for the next several months at least. The rooms in the front of the hotel hear all of this noise (and there is also a fair amount of street noise that seems to be a constant). I don't think any other hotel would be different in terms of street noise, given how small the sidewalks are -- you are basically just on top of the street. So, the rooms in the back of the hotel might be better choice for less noise. We brought ear plugs, and were fine. There is a very good restaurant right down the street from the hotel -- Restaurant Alcorta! We had bife de chorizo and Malbec several times there, and recommend it highly. No need for a reservation if you dine before 9 pm or so (we sadly were not able to get used to the late hour for dining in Argentina).
Central but noisy

The rooms are very good : modern, luminous, clean and well decorated. Bed is a real kingsize and very comfortable. After the first night, we had to change the room because of the noise in the street (it was room 101). After asking the lady at the reception, we could move to 503, wich was Mach better.
Staff is not the friendliest we had during our month in Argentina. It seemed that good service is only provided for locals.
Lovely Hotel

The room we had was very nice. Very modern and clean, lots of nice touches (crockery and wine glasses etc) the big bed was so comfortable, and the shower was great too. This was actually the nicest hotel we stayed in during our month long trip. Breakfast was varied and tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly. It is not really an apartment more like your standard hotel room. Great location.
excellent hotel and great service
