Nice homestay in the heart of Saint Petersburg
Bella_Alon 07/01/2014 13:34Stayed for 2 week on advanced career training. It is a small boutique hotel, very quiet and pieceful, very homelike. Excellent shower, always fresh sheets and towels.
Hotel Admin Group is very friendly and caring. The rooms are maintained well by daily cleaning.
Homemade fresh breakfasts (oatmeal, fried eggs, russian pancakes).
There is a dispenser in the hall where you can get hot water for tea. Stable wifi free internet.
The hotel is located in the historical core of the city on Boloshoy prospect, corner of Zverinskaya St. It makes it very easy to get to may "must-visit" places. Sportivnaya metro station is 1 min walk.
Petropavlovskaya Krepost - 15 min walk. Hermitage - 20-25 min evarage speed walk (or one metro station away).
There numerous restaurants around (Na Parah, Teremok, SushiWok, Eurasia, Tokio). There is a decent grocery store, located in the same building with the hotel.
The TV is a liitle old, it was also a little bit cold in the room for me in the beginning, but that was solved by the hotel people within hours.
Not enough sockets for the gadgets i had with me. Also can be solved.
Recommnded. Going to stay there again myself.
Great budget hotel
Andreea1782on 17/07/2013 16:41This Hotel offers everything a budget traveler needs: cheap, clean close to metro station, friendly staff, free wifi. It is close to Sportivnaya metro station (which is one stop from Admiralteskaia where the Hermitage is). When you get off at Sportivnaya metro (before exiting the station) look for the sign which directs you to Bolshoy Prospekt (this is the exist which you should follow). An additional 5 minutes walk will get you to the hotel.

MarkH35805on 18/06/2013 07:54Very friendly and helpful staff. English was limited with most but they tried to make sure we were all understanding. Although the building and hall look a little rundown, the inside of the hotel facility is very clean. Hot water with very good pressure. Refrigerator in room. Breakfast is basic (four menu choices). Close to metro stop. A grocery store is next door. Fortress is within walking distance. Is on the "wrong" side of the river for most night life so you can get caught when the bridges go up if you go out.
Very nice location and good value for money
Glasflusson 08/07/2011 23:16I wanted to see the White nights - so I looked for an affordable hotel in the centre not too far from a subway station.
Amulet was the best choice and I did not regret my choice. For a reasonable price (it's St. Petersburg at the end during high season) I had a nice single room with a good choice of breakfast.
It is a Mini-Hotel, so there is no restaurant, but there is a TEREMOK only 100 m away and loads of restaurants on the Bolshoy Prospekt. It takes 5 minutes to the subway and it's 7 minutes walking from the Zenit Stadium - a secret hint for soccer fans...
You have all facilities, a private bath room, fridge and (we are in Russia) you will always find a steam iron if you need one. The room was reasonably clean, good enough for me anyway. So if I stay again in SPb in a single room - Amulet is one of my first choices.
