The staff and management are rude, belligerent and incompetent.
They do not have the first clue about hospitality or how to treat customers.
The receptionist refused to listen, and could not answer any basic questions, such as
"Do you have hot water available in the room?"
They insist that guests pay the full amount upfront, so that they can provide any sloppy service afterwards and you have no recourse.
I have stayed at hotels all over the world, and to call this place
"International" is beyond a joke!
Do yourselves and your sanity a big favour and stay at the:

krishnamkon 23/04/2017 05:52This is a budget hotel which suits the purse of any middle class tourist or traveller. The Hotel has 40 spacious , well furnished rooms situated on 4 floors of the hotel. there is a vegetarian and non veg restaurant with attached bar. The vegetarian restaurant serves tasty sumptuous vegetarian food which is not expensive. Serves complimentry breakfast of traditional south indian type. The hotel is situated in the bendoorwell, Balmatta road, kankanady area which is centrally located witn transport facilities to any corner of the city. The staff are very friendly and helpful as most of the Mangaloreans are. The hotel has a limited greenary around.
Good place to stay in Mangalore
Shankar_KGon 02/01/2017 08:30Stayed here with my family, the rooms are spacious and it is inside the city with good connectivity to bus stand and railway station. We had booked a non AC room and the room was clean.
Room service is not that good as they take more time to serve.
They have separate Veg and Non veg restaurant. The food is too good and they serve food till 11 PM(Check earlier as they might change depending on season)
One day we tried Veg and the other day we tried non-veg food, both of them were good. Try the Mangalore style food if you are non-veg, they are tasty and the rates are reasonable.
They have complimentary buffet in the morning, but that is average. Any ways they need some improvements on those.
Over all a good place to stay.

the person who is sitting next to the receptionists was very rude😈
chicken uruval and chicken ghee roast are the best. end of the day how you treat is very important.☺😆

There was no toilet paper in my bath room. Housekeeping did not have any and they actually had to send someone running out to buy toilet rolls. The mat outside the bathroom was filthy- brown with mud. There was no hot water in the taps or shower head - so room service got me a bucket of hot water. No shower curtains or even a ledge for bath water which means the entire bathroom floor gets wet. The sheets were not fresh- looked used - had them changed. The phone in the room was dead. Wifi only in the room- not in lobby or restaurants so forget about having any business meetings in the lobby.
Stay here at your own peril!! And they have the cheek to charge over Rs, 2000/- per night!!
