Fraud Hotel
rishabj757on 14/05/2017 15:11I am writing this review with a great hope to help people not to go for this hotel. I visited jaisalmer last week for a family holiday. We booked two rooms. Got into the hotel to find everything dust filled. Checked into room and found that the AC isn't working. Picked up the phone to complain and found that the intercom isn't working. Got downstairs to reception to which the acting manager replied very rudely and said that it will take time and he can't do anything. Finally when his arrogance was not tolerable we asked him to cancel my stay and give us the refund, to which he denied. We asked to let us talk to the owner, to which the owner denied to speak to us and threatened us to do anything. Finally, after involving police, we just recieved half the money. A must not visit place.
Great potential, but in desperate need of renovation
Leanne Son 11/05/2017 00:16From the outside this place looks beautiful and has great potential to be amazing, however; the rooms are run down, dirty and in desperate need of a renovation. There was exposed wiring as one of the sockets was hanging out from the wall. The place is also infested with mosquitoes. You do not get bottled water at this hotel. There is no wi-fi and the pool is not fit for use.
The view from the rooftop is incredible, however; this area is not used for any purpose.
Worst hotel stay ever
Vikas1812on 10/01/2017 12:34I travel almost 2 to 3 times with family in an year. This was my worst experience. Location too bad, no hot water, no working telephone in room, half of lights were fused or missing, bathrooms were not properly managed. No propoer parking space, In evening we plan to go outside and it was surpirisng to see that my car was blocked by another car for which hotel staff was not able to trace the owner...later on they came to know that someone from outside parked his car in their premised...very rude staff...seems they were shifted there from some govt hotel....In morning when we were about to check out, we went for breakfast which was complimentary in our package, we came to know that breekfast will be served 1 hr late as cooking staff has still not arrived...Over all my worst experience in so many years of travelling.
Bad, bad, bad
Frizzlepantson 18/11/2016 00:42I have never written a bad review. I understand "you get what you pay for" and have a little distaste for those who criticise budget hotels for not providing shampoo and body wash etc. However, this place gave me the creeps from the moment I walked into myroom. For example, the toilet wasn't attached properly to the floor (despite attempts with cement) and rocked when sat upon. Also, there was water leaking from the bottom of the toilet which was obviously sewerage. Smelt horrible and stank the whole room out. The shower head was missing, so the water ran out in a continuous stream like from a hose. The steps to the room were high, steep and the height of each step was uneven. The hotel was generally very poorly lit - and so at night, especially with the bad steps, the whole place felt like an accident waiting to happen - and probably already has. The mattresses on the bed were hard. The sheets were far too small and after 5 minutes I was lying on the mattress. I hate that. No tv in the room, despite the hotel advertising to the contrary. The wifi only worked in the foyer. This hotel had a bad feeling to it. The worst place I have ever stayed (and I've stayed in some pretty horrible places over the years).
