Food fantastic!!
gianni1010on 24/08/2017 10:122 nights in this a little bit old. Room was enough comfortable with something to renew. But bed was good and washroom not bed. Gym with old machines. No time to try Spa. 4 is for Food: it is fantastic and for me it is the best tried in India (also in Ludhiana).
Grand Stay.

the rooms are nice, spacious and very well equipped. Room are priced reasonably keeping in mind its a 5star. Food is also good but priced slightly on the higher side.

Pleasant suprise
Kainaz Kon 14/08/2017 08:10This hotel is extremely old & I did not expect much so was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are well done but lack any amenities. The bathrooms are extremely basic with no frills. In fact i didn't even get hot water & had to call an engineer to fix the shower! The TV also wasn't working but then the technician fixed that as well.
The in room dining food was really good. When in Punjab you have to drink a lassi which was delicious! I also had some tikkas & a ceasar salad both of which were great.
Needs Upgrades
newhall33047on 04/08/2017 19:20Stayed at this hotel 6 years ago. At that time it was the best hotel in town. Stayed there again recently.There is clear deterioration of the hotel compared to our last visit. There were hardly any guests staying at the hotel. The restaurant was almost empty. Was told it is because of competition from other hotels that have come up recently and also because the hotel cannot serve any alcohol due to recent Indian Supreme Court order. The carpets in the hallways were smelly and need cleaning or changing. Food was still good and the main Chef was always in the restaurant trying to please whatever customers were there. One of the other restaurants in the hotel had closed, probably due to lack of business. However, one cannot beat the location of the hotel which is very central for shopping etc. Staff was very courteous and helpful.

DrBiswajit Bon 29/07/2017 15:35Very Nice hotel to stay in ludhiyana, Punjab. Great deal for the club Carlson members. Nice room with space. Quick check-in. Lots of options for restaurants within hotel and near by. Spaces for parking cars. Good hospitability.
