Lovely place by the sea
Tvimeg2006on 31/08/2017 06:41Excellent service and lovely restaurant. The property is well maintained. We got super service from "Om Prakash" in their restaurant - Seacrest
The staff are helpful and attentive. This resort is a short distance from the Surfers Beach in Mahabalipuram. The crocodile park is worth a visit too.
Not good experience
Neelam987on 29/08/2017 07:06Money was stolen from my purse. However, the resort declined to accept any blame. Did not even express regret. The receptionist said will check with housekeeping. That was the only assurance they are willing to give.

You can enjoy the beauty of Bay of Bengal with privileged way with Family/Friends/Couples.Lots of option to enjoy - Bar, food, Playing zone, swimming pool and of course the private sea beach. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I will visit again! Thank you for your hospitality MGM team!
Calm beach resort
TomasMadridon 27/08/2017 11:02The strong points of this beach hotel are: location directly on the beach, clean installations, restaurant with superb Indian food (especially when they do the special festive buffets), dining with your feet in the beach sand and staff which is very attentive and friendly. Also caters mostly to locals as opposed to foreign tourists (so not overpricing). Gym is good with good equipment, more than your typical hotel in these parts.
On the negative side the huge amount of crows and stray dogs wandering around the grounds. Rooms/facilities are clean and well kept, but maybe soon need a facelift. There's a strong surf and currents which means no swimming in the sea (nature is what it is). And there are mosquitos on nights/evenings when there is no wind, so bring your repellent or you will not be able to enjoy the dining directly over the beach.

akram aon 25/08/2017 21:34Wonderful place to stay with Family/Friends/Couples! Beautiful location and resort design which will Make you feel like you're out of Chennai on an Island. The swimming pool was well maintained. Rooms were maintained well and staffs were friendly. Their buffet was amazing along with an attached bar than compared to a few nearby hotel dine ins and resorts. Overall it was a pleasant stay and I will visit again! Thank you for your hospitality MGM team!
