Great Hotel

I visited this hotel in 2010 right before the war began. I loved how clean, modern, friendly and accessible it was. I still remember the breakfast buffet and my very first experience of "Oum Ali" and the moment I fell in love with it. Not far from town, and there is a mall nearby.

Friendly staff , good location in the city , good level of hygiene , recommended too for lonf stays as they make good offers and reduce prices , i personally stayed there for 50 nights and i was very satisfied with the hotel on every level ......

Modern, nice, clean shıc, calm, smile persomel, good breakfast .. Maybe far from busines center and the heart of city, but really nice place for rest at the and of hard day. I recomend all rooms, My coments only this. Please do not waant more coments every time..

Very Clean , located in the middle of the city , Amazing Breakfast !!! , very good service
respect privacy so much , but it marriage between couples to b able to sign 1 suit together , maybe only for Arabs .

As a business traveler I stayed in Rotana 3 times, each time 2-3 nights and in most of my visits I received more than what I've expected.
Rooms are big, like other Rotana hotels and cleanness is exceptional comparing to other hotels.
Breakfast was satisfactory, completed by Homos which is my favorite food in Arab cousin and they prepare it very well in Rotana (Damascus).
Just be prepared for a non-leisure hotel as you see mainly business people staying in this hotel.
There are some shops downstairs that you can spend some time visiting them but not much to buy.
The area (Mezzeh) is in the middle of Damascus and you can always find a taxi with cheap fares to take you anywhere you like. (check and agree the price before you take the taxi)
Although I haven't been there after war started but before that it was one of the best hotels in Damascus.
The only problem I had once was that my room was a smoking room that smelled!! make sure you get the room you want.
