What People are saying

Maybe best in town but still far from good

Luca Son 16/08/2017 16:51

Decadent hotel that after renovation was left to its destiny.
The water of the pool is a bit yellow and on the surface dust, plumes and dirt are floating.

Rooms are quite clean though, but do not expect the rooms proposed in the pictures of the website.

There was no hot water in the room and A/C was not working properly.

First impression is the last impression

I am reviewing the hotel at the time of check in. I also don't think that I have given such a bad rating to any hotel, and the fact that I have to is really sad.

The service at this hotel is appalling to the point that I can't believe it still functions. Since I am traveling with two senior citizens and a toddler, I had requested the hotel for a pick up from the Kota station. I can't believe that this hotel cannot organize a pick up, a must now for frequent travelers. I was told again and again by the hotel staff that I will get ample taxis and ola cabs at the station which is cheaper. They did not understand that for me money was secondary and the comfort for my family was first.

Well, we did not get a cab at the station. Ola did not have any service to Bundi and we were left at the mercy of the numerous agents who attacked us. Traveling with women and senior citizens, this is not a comfortable position to be in. After 45 min I managed to get the cabs. This is all after sunset.

If this wasn't enough, the staff at the reception took the cake. They could see we were hassled and one more hit up from their seat to either welcome us to help with the bags. I was shocked at their expressions which beyond numb.

I am now stuck here for 3 nights and I guess there is no other option but to live through this ordeal. I can hope that tomorrow will be better and brighter. Review of rooms and service and housekeeping in another post.

wonderful stay!

We have recently started exploring Rajasthan and we decided to explore bundi after much research. But we were having trouble deciding on a hotel.we saw great reviews on some hotels near the fort but we are glad we booked this hotel firstly,it has a parking.secondly, its beautifully done and our rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful even though we were the only ones staying in the hotel the first night.Thirdly, the food! we did not expect much from a small place in bundi but they had everything on the menu and best part it was really good.even for breakfast i was expecting only one or two things since we were the only one that day but they catered for whatever we ordered and we really enjoyed it.plus there restraunt is also tastefully done.coffee in the evening by the pool while it was raining was wonderful. The staff at the reception helped us with our queries and we explored lot of things and it was a wonderful trip.also m glad we booked this hotel because of eid the roads were blocked on the first day near the fort and we were not stuck and we could easily venture out to the nearby beautiful places and visited the fort the next day when everything was clear.the location of this hotel made it easier to move around in our own vehicle.and i was so apprehensive of visiting Bundi and this hotel but my wife insisted we go there.now m really glad we did and got to experience some of our best
Rajasthan moments.
Thanks for maintaining a nice place in this hidden gem of a place-Bundi
full marks to the chef and the staff of the restraunt and the hotel.
keep up the good work!

Thanks to God that Bundi have it's own luxury hotel. It's a plac for wedding, business meetings, leisure and for sight seeing as well. Safe and secure place if you are new in the town. At the centre of the city so no issue for commuting.

Disappointed

Visited with family with teenagers. The property as such is very gud. The entrance is nice. The collection of vintage cars and bikes is awesome. The disappointment is with the restaurant. Completely poor service. Inexperienced staff, stale food and inordinate delay in getting it on the table. As far as refinement is concerned..... It's completely missing. Leaves u disappointed and cheated. Really needs a lot of work to get it to some standard.
