Bilal and Maryam who worked there were very helpful. The cottage was nice and they were very humble and wanted to know if they could improve anything. Satisfying and secure place. Lovely guy who worked there as well from Nepal. Forgot his name.

I stayed at Ashiyana with a friend for about a month. We were road tripping through India for 6 months.
The room we shared was spacious, clean and very comfortable with an outdoor area to sit and relax in the evenings.
Bilal, the owner, was very helpful and always made sure we felt at home and cared for.
It's a safe place for female travelers!
After trying out a few different places on North Cliff, we decided to stay at Ashiyana for the duration of our trip. It felt like being at home. The staff was super friendly and the place itself has great energy. The decoration is simple and elegant, the indoor patio is a really nice place to sit and read. Water, tea and coffee are available as well as books. We had a great experience and when we go back to Varkala we will definitely stay there again. Bilal was also really helpful and took us to town a few times on his scooter.
Thanks for making us feel safe and at home during our stay there. Definitely one of the better places to stay at in Varkala.

So see you soon .thanks for great time we been stay diffrent hotels but ashiyana was so clean and big toom bathtubs hot watet all ways beach on 5 mt from hotel thay have nice few cafe alos on the beach side

My experience at the Ashiyana cliff and beach resort was great from the start untill the end. I enjoyed the peace around, there is a very 'Zen' atmosphere at this location. There in possibility to practice yoga , wich was perfect for me.
The room and bathroom is generally very clean, the bed is comfortable and is nicely and lightly decorated.
The location of the resort is at walking distance from the cliffs as well as the beach.
