Our first time to the island of Rhodes and we chose Atrium Palace in Kalathos just outside Lindos for 8 nights in early October. The staff from the doorman, to the front desk, and the dining room were all friendly, welcoming and seemed to truly care about you as their guest. The housekeeping staff deserve their own mention because not only was our room impeccably clean but the entire resort. The halls, the dining room, public areas, all were kept very, very clean! Management, your housekeeping staff do an excellent job!! The pool area and grounds were also well looked after.
We booked a 'double garden view' room category with half board directly with the hotel's website. Our room was in the main building on the 3rd floor. The bed was comfortable, the room spacious and the air conditioning worked well. Upon arrival we were greeted with a fresh fruit bowl in the room along with a complimentary bottle of wine. The room had a nice large personal safe, there were bath robes, complimentary slippers and soft fluffy towels in the bathroom. Housekeeping not only cleaned thoroughly in the morning but also provided a freshen up of the room while at dinner. Our room had a balcony with a view of the island and peek a boo view of the sea. The breakfast buffet was extensive, fresh fruits, pastries, Greek yogurt that was extra delicious, cooked to order eggs, omelets and crepes. There are too many items to list. The dining room staff is hard working. Dinner was included in our half board and again the buffet provided something for everyone and was quite varied. Ordering wine with dinner was reasonably priced. There was never a problem finding a chaise around the pool. We did not use the beach service as we were too busy seeing the island. There is parking provided as we had a rental car for the duration of our stay. The island of Rhodes has become a favourite Greek Island! There are many categories of rooms to choose from at the resort to suit all budgets and meet everyone's requirements. We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 night visit at the Atrium Palace.
So very peaceful and lush

We stayed at the Atrium Palace hotel in Kalathos for the first time at end of October. My husband and I loved it there. The staff were friendly, helpful and hard working, especially the restaurant and cleaning staff. Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and I was so surprised and happy to find designs of flowers and towels made into animals on my bed when we returned. We didn't go anywhere much, just into Lindos twice by bus, which only took 10 minutes. The bus was always full as it came from Rhodes. We like Lindos. If you want to avoid the busy streets for a change and go straight to the beach, there is a quicker and more convenient way to get down. Use the steps which lead straight down from the main square where the tree is.
We liked the entertainment every night, especially the Greek nights, we joined in dancing, but also the rock group were good too. The drinks were too expensive so we didn't drink much there. We were there on a bed and breakfast basis, so we ate at Mo Veda's a lot over the road where the food was excellent and very reasonably priced. Also the restaurant Stefano's at the top near the main road serves great traditional Greek food and has a very friendly owner. He gave us a pomegranate for luck to take home. We liked Dimitris too,on the corner, the restaurant called Asterias which belongs to the hotel, though we thought it was a tad pricey. Dimitris closed near the end of the season so we only ate there twice. We stayed in two or three nights to relax and watch English films. There were 2 good English film channels.
The room was spacious with whirlpool bath which we loved. The balconies were too close together which was one thing we didn't like. You can see into your neighbours room easily. The pool was at the other side, we were in room 304, so got dogs barking every night.. that was annoying too. Didnt mind the donkeys braying though and visiting them every day. A baby one was born whilst we were there and it was so very cute to see it prancing about.
The swimming pool area was amazing. On 4 levels and you can always find a quiet place to laze about. Pool was cold but i did go in a couple of times, though the sea in Lindos was warmer and far better to swim in. We liked the spa and had it all to ourselves one morning.. was great to get a massage, and also to use the fountains in the warm pool to get a shoulder massage. Chora gave me a relaxing neck and shoulders massage. Visili in the top pool bar was very friendly, cheery and helpful and my husband, steve got on with him great, had good conversation with him on his last day there. He was going home after 7 months of hard work to see his family, as were a lot of the hard working staff.
Next time we go we would like to stay in a room with a balcony which gets the sun, as ours didn't get any at all, but apart from that we loved the Atrium and would recommend it for a relaxing holiday as Kalathos is such a small village. We will visit more of the neighbouring towns and villages next time we go, including Rhodes town.
The breakfasts were plentiful and wholesome with freshly made omelets if you wanted and lots of fruit, nuts and various other delicious food. Free towels available every day, and fre luxury sunbeds on part of the pebble beach too.
Chilled and friendly

We have visited the Atrium Palace hotel several times with our son and family and would like to say thank you to all of your staff for making us feel very welcome in particular
Stratos and Panos at the pool bar who are such polite helpful and happy gentlemen also the staff from your restaurant who served us with food around the pool area and the beach bar staff especially Maria.
The pool and garden areas are so pretty and relaxing with so many additional quiet areas and small pools to be found even when the hotel is busy around the lovely main pool area.
Thank you once again and we hope you all have a lovely winter and we look forward to visiting you again
next year.
Kind regards
Hugh and Barbara
Williams and family .

Everything was lovely. Room always thoroughly cleaned, food fantastic, lovely pool area and warm and very clean seaside. I was impressed with the friendliness of all the staff and most out to that super young professional Giannis at the main bar who is an example of greek hospitality - till next year my friends!

My husband and I (both in our 30’s) had a hard time to choose between all the options in Lindos and nearby. We finally opted for this one because the hotel looked beautiful and had very good reviews.
Well, I have to say the resort was even better than expected!! Such a beautiful and well-mantained resort!
I cannot complain for a single thing.
STAFF
Nice, polite, friendly and with a smile in the face. It is great to move around the resort and find every single worker saying you Kalimera (good morning) or kalispera (good afternoon/evening).
Always with a smile. These details are the ones that make the difference.
RESORT
Beautiful flowers and plants around. All is well-manteined.
Super clean swimming pools and great swim up bars.
FOOD
We were really surprise about the huge amount and variety of food provided for breakfast!! In 7 days there we could enjoy of so many types of breakfast in the buffet as well as the homemade omelette, eggs, pancakes, creps made at the moment for the nice chefs.
We also had one dinner included and the food there was tasty and plenty of it.
LOCATION
Just 5km from Lindos town. It was the perfect location to relax and have the town for visiting it, going to the beautiful beach of St Paul’s Bay and the Acropolis, have dinner there and shop around while wandering through the cute streets.
We had an offer with the car included. I highly recommend you to have a car unless you just have the intention to stay at the hotel all the time.
It is also located at 90 min driving from Rhodes capital and airport.
ROOM
Really good and spacious standard room with a good size balcony with direct views to one of the pools (not the main one but one of the quiets, which is better in my opinion). It was great to sit there after dinner and relax with the silence and views to the lovely garden with that beautiful palm trees.
Good size of the bathroom too.
Cleaning staff was always good too.
SPA
Small but great to enjoy and relax the saunas and the big pool. All clean and in a good atmosphere.
BEACH
Well it was not a kind of wonderful sand but pebbles instead so not good to give a walk. We just went the first day and dis not come back for this reason.
Nice staff and nice hotel restaurant just a few meters of distance.
So suming up, I highly recommend to go to this resort. I only regret we did not book for more days there!
If we ever come back to the island, I definetely would come back here.
NOTE: We had an offer including room + car + buffet breakfast + 1 entrance to the spa + welcome fruit basket & wine + one dinner included
Great package, good car at a really good cost.
