Panda Stephels is in the hotel district (MI Road) and falls halfway between the train station and the city center, indeed is a bit far from the main attractions (Hawa Mahal, Palace, Jantar Mantar, etc.) and bazaars, but if you like walking is just 30-40 minutes or, in any case, 5-10 minutes by rickshaw (30-50 rupees). The atmosphere is lively and relaxed: there is a big courtyard with trees and plants, where they serve breakfast and meals from the restaurant and where you can meet other people and have conversation. Food is tasty and cheap, but service is slow – I found the waiter a bit pushy and intrusive, even though he’s not rude. My room at the ground floor was big enough and clean, but a bit noisy in the evening (voices and laughs from the restaurant) and very early in the morning (staff talking louldy or shouting).

the place was good specially the room was good and clean they have beautiful garden and sitting area and few games to make you entertain
the staff was very nice and friendly they help me a lot and very polite
you can ask your query they reply happy and resolve the problem
nice decision to stay that property

It was a great stay at the stephels, place is comfortable and clean the staff is good. overall a good experience staying here, i would surely recommend it to others.

The place is good and situated in the centre of city convenient for city tour
Staff was good and friendly
Food was good. Room is. Clean hot water in bathroom

Hostel is pretty clean, everybody was friendly and easy going. Food was decent as well. Stuff helped me to arrange bus tickets with a good price.
Location is decent as well, even though it's not the best looking street. You'll pay around 50-100 rupiahs to get to most of attractions. Liqueur store is quite close by as well if you'll feel like having a cold refreshing beer ;)
If you're lazy traveler you can also take a tuk-tuk tour around the city with the awesome guy Ali, he hangs out in the lobby.
