Don't go by reviews which reads as Excellent, good service etc.. Lets come to the facts - Originally owned by a Parish Priest so you can see "Praise the Lord" everywhere so you have entered a church!! So there are strict rules on timing! OK, that might be good if you are not a freebird :)
Whats not there - No TV, No Swimming pool (Under maintenance!), No waterfalls nearby..
Whats there - Foul smell in rooms/ sports room (May be not used for ages? Table tennis boards, Carrom boards - Out of order!! Thats it with Indoor games.
Outdoor games: You can play Cricket/ Volleyball. Badminton rackets and shuttlecocks are gone bad (Overused!)
Only thing you may enjoy is a Trekking within the estate..
Food is average, you may get similar food in a Darshini in Bangalore!
Now question is why I should pay 4K+ for this?
Right price is <2.5K.. Please negotiate if you really want to go there!!

Amazing Property, Very Beautiful view from the rooms, Good Food, Nice Service, enough activities to keep one engaged.
Far from the city out in the forest adds to the adventure but can be a little difficult to find. Overall nice vacation

-Love the location on the hills with beautiful view
-The roads to the resort are lush green
-The rooms were spacious and clean
-Enough Parking space / Bonfire / Dj night
-Food was average

Very Bad experience @ Eagle Eye Resort Chikamagalur

Recently we been there and stayed for 2 nights. Our delightful experience;
Pros:
Location, Moderate food, Tree house, Scenic view.
Cons:
Summarized all the P1 issues we faced with the challenging management.
1) We been to many resorts and here we faced the other side (poor attitude) of receptionist/manager/lady room attenders.
2) We booked 1 night in Tree house and 1 night in Sky walk. Skywalk – By seeing the website photos we were excited about Skywalk and in real, there is a 3*5 feet glass floor with lot of cracks and we were advised by the management not to stand on that (Both the Skywalk are in same condition) and they are not even accept our inconvenience.
3) We made 20% as advance payment and as part of booking confirmation they accepted for Card payment and in real, they demanded full CASH payment as their WIFI was down. In-spite of our request to accept 10K as immediate cash and remaining will withdraw from ATM by evening…receptionist/manager don’t have a mere mercy and demanded immediate settlement and don’t have courtesy to understand the customers tiredness/sickness. We all waited in the reception for 2 hours and everyone wandered for an hour across the estate for network connection and did online payment. After that only they gave the room Keys.
Interesting fact is; Whatever we ask, we get a tape recorder reply from the receptionist “please contact our manager”…where is the manager?...”Manager is not in station”…Ha ha ha ha.
4) On 2nd day, we informed the receptionist/manager that we will come late (after lunch hours) for lunch and please keep it separate. As usual, at 4 pm we didn’t get any lunch with a reply “Lunch period got over, we can’ help”. Our concerns were totally ignored and after an 30 minutes quarrel (literally they tested our patience) they accepted for the compensation deal i.e., they are ready to provide only 1 egg omelet per person (1 lunch is equal to 1 omelet). Hilarious.
5) After an hour argument with Management, they compensated with Chicken dry and Omelet. Since we paid the full amount and no refund policy, we were forced to stay the 2nd night. Otherwise, we are totally frustrated and ready to vacate.
6) When it was raining heavily, I have asked 1 additional door mat to cover the wet floor. As usual, the attenders denied blandly and asked us to get confirmation from reception (which is 300 meters away from the room). Horrible attitude of lady attenders.
7). On top when we requested for Swimming pool usage for 20 mins we were not allowed for everything reception ladies would say no no no .... :(
8). No network or wifi provision, have sufficient cash for any
Conclusion: Please discuss and get an email confirmation on every aspect. Either make full online payment or go with sufficient cash. Before booking the Skywalk room, ask them to send the latest picture of Skywalk. Tree top is good. Be prepared to hear the repeated immature and lethargic response from the receptionist/manager. I personally, wont recommend this resort to anyone.

The property is located at a very strategic location & the person running this has planned it very well & made best use of it. The staff was very courteous & co operative right from the time we parked our vehicle till we left the property. The Kitchen & restaurant is run well. I think all the staff members are well trained to do their jobs & they are doing it perfectly.
You have to be prepared to walk a bit to explore the property but its a good & a different experience altogether. If you are planning a trip here expecting Luxury & a star hotel type of service then this is not the place, its run the best possible way from my perspective.
