Hotel was in front of railway station and on way to sabzi Mandi, very close to bus depot. Staff is very cooperate and also room are very clean. food seemed very expensive when compared to the services and the room being offered. There is no generator facility in the hotel. If electricity is off then AC of the room is not working. Also, there is no designated hotel parking space.

Reach Ambala Cant station and you would end up with limited stay options and changes are high you would end up at reaching Batra Palace coz it so near to bus stop and railway station.
The rooms have nothing great to be mentioned. Below basic amenities. But it is the restaurant which will bring me back to this place.
Restaurant is ornately designed, with live music. The menu has options in Indian, Continental and Italian dishes. It has a area where you can read books kept there. Simply loved the restaurant !

The location is right next to the bus stop and railway station, therefore if one is planning for a small stay with not much to travel it is an option owing to its good location. The rooms are big but not maintained properly. There is seepage and the walls are chipping away. The rooms are big but the ambient noise is audible from outside. I stayed as it was arranged by someone else and I didn't have the time to explore many options. The staff is good though and food is OK but overpriced.

Batra Palace is quite popular among the visitors for comfortable stay within the budget. Easily accessible from Bus Stand and Railway Station and also quite close to the famous Mall Road. Where one may find the British fragrance. Hotel is having two categories of accommodation. House keeping and room service including front office are excellent. It is managed by professionals. Having multi cousin Restaurant and very impressive Bar. Only the thing that no Halal is served but lot of vegetarian options are available, as it's a good place for fine dining. Earlier the Restaurant name was Aapki Khatir and now changed to Bronies and Bar is Black Horse. It's a beautiful hotel with all facilities and amenities.

Located just at the back of Bus stand, 5 min walk from Railway station. Average hotel with average maintenance. For a night halt after long drive on NH-1 this may be one of the option. Food is satisfactory.
