The hotel is a good value for money. The room I stayed was big. The toilets could have been more attractive, but they are OK. The hotel does not have a restaurant but there is a good restaurant on the other side of the road.

I request all the travellers never to stay in this hotel. This is one of the worst hotel on this planet earth. It is cheap and lacks all the basic facilities and on top of it the staff is rude and can try to cheat you to earn more money.
I had booked this hotel for my parents during a festive season in Gujarat when maximum hotels in Ahmedabad were already booked. Finally Yatra gave me this option, I never expected much from this hotel and had also made my parents mentally prepared to not expect much. I just wanted a place for my parents where they can spend the night as throughout the day they were supposed to be out.
But to our surprise even after confirmed and pre-paid booking from Yatra the owner asked for triple amount when my parents arrived in this hotel. After much argument and complains to Yatra they finally agreed. The services were already poor, as expected. The hotel doesn't have any restaurant as earlier informed by their staff.
Overall this hotel is not a good place to stay. 'AVOID' : is the only word for this hotel!

The hotel is within 2 km from railway station that is why I had booked it through MMT. Just a day before our arrival I phoned to hotel to confirm my booking, then I realized that by mistake I had booked the hotel in wrong date. But the staff helped us and booked a room of same type for next day. When we arrived they also arranged a taxi for site seeing in Ahmedabad. The hotel is clean but being in the heart of town and in a commercial building the rooms are devoid of balconies and natural light. It does not have its own restaurant but if you wish the staff will bring food to your room from nearby restaurant. There is a good restaurant just opposite the hotel.
Since the hotel is not in a separate building nor is big attractive signboard, you may find difficult locating this place if you are a newcomer. I ringed the hotel after reaching Ahmedabad railway station and handed the phone to taxi driver to understand the location.
Though the hotel is average but helpful nature of the staff here made me rate it "Very good". We had reached here to begin our jouney to Somnath, Dwarka and Nageshwar on a week long tour. Situated just 2 km from the railway station and 7 km from the airport, Hotel Kingsway in Ahmedabad offers travel counter and laundry facilities.
Although the hotel do not have restaurant of its own, but there are plenty of places around with good food. The staffs are courteous and helpful. Do check bathrooms before you check in ... some rooms have dirty and creaky old ones.... ask for a change. Overall a good, conveniently located and cheap place for travelers.

Location of Hotel is good, but rooms & bathroom are very dirty. Hotel is good for 4-5 hour stay for to refresh. Location of hotel don't seen on exact address online, so 1st ask you hotel to confirm address.
