The hotel itself is good, small rooms bit very clean and tidy with good airconitioning and fridges. Money exchange also available bit rates are better elsewhere. Probably the best WiFi I've had in India.
The restaurant is a different matter. Clean and tidy the service is extremely poor. I was seated straight away then ignored. They ran around with room service meals and talking to each other. I finally got someone's attention and they also walked off without talking my order but were then back 5 minutes later with a meal! Tempting to take it but I have allergies so they took it away and took awhile before they came back. To which each selection I made I was told I couldn't have. So I finally did what I should have done half an hour previously and walked out - the sad thing was they weren't surprised!

Went to Madurai on a pilgrimage. Stayed over night. Excellent hotel. Room was good with clean washrooms. Basic toilet amenities were provided. They have an in house restaurant with a decent menu. Food was tasty.Room service was prompt. Hotel neatly maintained. Good front office staff. We requested a late check out & they obliged with minimum fuss. They help you out in arranging transport etc. Over all we had a very comfortable stay.

This is good and beautiful hotel for stay. It is near to madurai railway station at walkable distance. But you have to exit from the platform 6 i.e. last platform. The auto will charge you Rs 50 or Rs 60 for this short distance. Good wifi speed and restaurant is also available.
Those who want to Madurai Kamraj University for some work, this hotel is good because it located on the road side and 12 kms is away from the MKU. But the auto charge is high ie Rs 200 for one side. But still it is worth of work.
The staff is polite and cooperative. Overall best hotel.

I've booked one of the top hotels listed "THE NOOK" and it's been a pathetic experience. Very small room for 3 guests and I had infants, and room had lot of mosquitoes, spiders and had to get insect killing bat for protecting my kids.
Also, the bathroom condition is pathetic and there has been some construction work going on. But overall experience has NOT BEEN GOOD and wnder how someone can book this hotel for a stay.
STRICTLY NO-NO HOTEL for families!!

Hotel location is opposite to cemetery. You have to keep the window and curtains closed all the time. Rooms are neat and clean including rest rooms. However they are too small for a third person. We have to take extra room Due to this reason.
