We stayed here recently during our two day trip, we had booked 2 triple bedrooms. My main concern regarding the clean rooms and clean washrooms were fulfilled. There was a slight problem with hot water in one room but you can always contact the reception for any problem. They get the food from nearby eatery.. Perfect budget hotel. Got a huge discount through cleartrip.. Though I visited it with my family, if you are looking for proper luxury hotels, do go for some other hotel. But for 1 night stays, it's more than enough.

Hotel Pearl Inn is between the Mysore Junction and the City Bus Stand at Govt. Ayurvedic Hospital Cross, New Sayyaji Rao Road Mysuru. The hotel is not so big but has good facilities like lift, intercom, room service, tour/ sight seeing facilities on payment and food. The staff is polite and charges are reasonable. In the month of Jan, 2017, a double bed room tariff on bargain was Rs.700/ with 24 hrs check out facility.

Booked a triple room for three of us over the New Year weekend.
Pros:
a) Staff courteous and available round the clock.
b) Rooms neat and tidy. Bathroom clean too (which was surprising for a modest hotel)
c) Convenient location to all tourist locations.
Cons:
a) Too much noise from the traffic early in the morning.
b) Surrounding area of the hotel not clean at all (that goes with the area it is located) - in fact the hotel entrance is via the inner road, not main.
c) Room service not up to the mark. As the place does not have its own pantry, the food is ordered from out. Most of the fare on the Room Service Menu is not available - just selected dishes.

We booked this place by booking.com. It was a big mistake. Period.
What the photos displayed was a stark difference from what we got! The room was small and poorly designed with a triangular configuration and a pillar in the center of the room. Hot water is supposed to be available from 3am to 3pm, but always in the mornings we have never had hot water, instead we have to cal the reception or the house-keeping both of whom were very discourteous and rude.
Whenever we call up the reception, they send a lackey to the room who knocks the door impatiently and once the door is opened they owuld just want to barge in to "solve" the problem.
All in all, I DO NOT recommend this place for anyone. The price is premium but the service is appalling. Pay first class and travel by coach.

First things first, think of this as a “Lodge” typical of small towns in South India and you will be okay. One needs to emphasize this because the expectation of a Lodge is more basic than expectations you would set for a hotel: smaller rooms, fewer amenities. It is basically a place to crash out for the night. Nothing more, nothing less.
Now that I have set the expectation, a bit about the location. The hotel is in a prominent location, opposite Mysore Medical college and adjacent to Ayurveda College. From the lodge, it is easy to access most tourist spots including the Palace, Mysore zoo, Philomena’s church and even Cauvery emporium.
As others have pointed out, the staff is attentive, observant and helpful. For those on a budget and don’t want to haggle with auto-divers, it is easy to hop-on local busses from across the hotel.
The minus: The property is located on a narrow road off the main road (which, as of December 2016 is undergoing renovation). Access to the hotel is from Mandi Mohalla, a typical commercial-residential area with small, multi-story houses and shops and narrow lanes.
