I reached very late and the check in was swift. I had asked for an additional bed and when you reach at 11.30 pm you expect the bed to be already laid out. It was not and I had to call for it and get it done. I lost almost 45 mins in all this and obviously did not appreciate the delay as I was very tired and had to get up early and leave as 7.00 am .
The room was dusty and not cleaned well too. Not one of the best transit Hotels. I have seen better ones.
Nice hotel but things you should beware of!

room ok. location well for me not perfect because I like trees etc nearby. cost absolute rip off, 5 times cost of hiring staff at eg Rs 50 per hour and renting a room plus reasonable profit margin that hotels take in any Western country. Should cost Rs 500 or so per night. Restaurant also complete rip off. In London, where I am from, hotels charge reasonably for food, based on small cost of actual food but very high cost of labour. This hotel charges I think it was, not absolutely sure 5 times what local person pays, about $1 or $2 max per meal. Of course Western food is more expensive but I have allowed for that. Any country I have been(dozens), it does not matter much whether you go to local restaurant or hotel restaurant.Taxis absolute absolute rip off. They believe foreigners should pay to go to moon and back, and complete complete shortage of taxis. Eg I waited 1.5 hours before finally hotel private driver took me to airport. Stupidly, rickshaws not allowed illegal for them to go to airport. I was beaten up at metro when metro staff wanted first Rs 250 then Rs 500 then threaten me with 3 months jail then 6 months jail then Rs 1000 demand. Then when I would not pay, they called police8 burly ones, who wanted me to visit them at police station and would not listen to me about being beaten up by Bangalore metro staff. 9 metro staff, v me, 1 with big 4 foot wooden stickwhich he used against me. Detained at metro for about 3.5 hours. Indian jails I believe are not really really nice places and Indian police are as bad as any in world. Recommendation: do not go by taxi, metro, walking (it is miles from anywhere)but maybe break the arm of a rickshaw driver when he says he wants (kid you not) $400 for 20 minute journey. He knows you cannot get taxi. Nice hotel, but not going back.
"Exclusively transit hotel"

This hotel is best used as transit stop over. Basic relatively satisfactory. The USP is close to the airport.Getting to the hotel is a problem at present because of the traffic.
If you have to catch an early morning flight, this hotel is the one you should opt for. Rooms are good, clean and rates are pocket friendly.
Comfortable room with a cute bedspread, air con and really pleasant bathroom. The staff were really helpful, friendly and accommodating with good food.
Again the lovely staff was very accommodating and gave us the wakeup call also in time.
Recommended for all those tourists who have to stay for night and avoid to rush for early morning traffic to Airport.

When you have no other alternative, you choose this hotel. All the departments need improvement. The restaurant breakfast is very basic.Only attractive thing is that it is closer to airport but is that enough?

Hotel Presidency is really convenient in case you use Bangalure for flight only. it is located nearly the airport you can reach in ten minutes. Rooms are comfortable and clean. To reach the center of the city you should consider to spend at least one hour by taxi. There is no possibility to book a taxi through hotel help but they have their own taxi service that can wait for you in Bangalure for back. Of course it is more expensive than standard taxi service
