First time in Mumbai and was advised to book here as the location is great.
Is this a five star - NO, Way to expensive with limited facilities.
Reason - hotel says Massage facilities available yet there isn’t, they just bring masseuse to the room. The way they sell this facility is we have the facility for masseuse to come to your rooms too. Not that that is the only way to get a massage. The prices are extortionate, and the gym and pool are tiny. Not enough to call a facility.
Guests are not given guest rate for anything including restaurant use. WiFi is charged as an extra. And it’s expensive, I was lucky the guy at the reception was kind to give it as a compliment as my original booking showed WiFi was included.
Positive - restaurant food was good and they serve shisha on the balcony. View is great if you get road side view. As you wake up seeing the sea. Staff in general are very polite and friendly.
Summary - would I stay here again or recommend. No, too expensive and not worth the price.

stayed on personal/ business trip, wanted to stay near the beach so selected this hotel right on marine drive. Clean rooms, good service, good BF, though BF was not part of package, hotel waived off the charges for the BF

Comfortable hotel in a great location . The head of housekeeping and the front of house manager could not have been more helpful with the couple of minor issues we had. Lovely rooftop bar / restaurant and pool with stunning views.
But... I doubt anyone uses this hotel who doesn’t have a digital device that they want to use to check basic emails etc. In every other hotel in our trip, wifi ( other than steaming etc ) has been free. In this day and age, this is just such a basic service it leaves a feeling of being ripped off. Wake up intercontinental and change your policy !!

I’ve been fortunate to stay at Intercontinental Mumbai several time this year while on a business visit.
Service right from the entrance to check out is absolutely immaculate: professional, always there when you need without intruding your space, business facilities and even my young son 14 year enjoyed the view, the terrace pool.

Stayed for 2nights and we regret it! In room dining made it even worst! 1st night they serving our food different time. my fiancee's order arrived 20min after placing the order and mine was after 45min. 2nd day i ordered fried rice and they gave me a plate of extremely salted fried rice! Price was unreasonable! will not recommend this hotel!
