Kudle beach resort is very picturesque. It’s built across several levels with the reception and restaurant at the road level, the highest level and the rooms are on the hillside slope downwards towards the sea.
We visited in summer and the property was colourful with bougainvillea in full blooming glory.
We were on the 2nd lowest level. Lots of steps up and down to get to the restuarant or road. Our room had a spacious sitout with a great view of the water (not the beach) – we saw the most awesome salmon pink sunsets.
The rooms are spacious for 2 but with the extra bed (mattress) there wasn’t much room to move. Good choice of TV channels. Our package was with breakfast. The view of the sea and the property from the restaurant was breathtaking but the food was ok – 3/5
The a la carte menu offered Chinese and Indian (read as North Indian) and the only seafood was surmai! No prawns or anything else! I for one couldn’t bear it that there was nothing remotely local on the menu. (even in vegetarian). Food preparation was good. And service was prompt.
A nice pool located midway with loungers was a good place to hang out in the evening.
The beach entry was from the main road outside and down many steps.

very nice resort, great rooms and well maintained. great view, of the beach , very quiet.
but not wheel chair friendly, too many steps to climb to an from the rooms, (65 steps), no lift.
food quality a lot to be desired. but the staff are vey helpfull and polite.

The location of the hotel is wonderful. You can see the Kudle beach from a distance which is an extraordinary experience. Rooms have all the facilities.
The sunset view point and Shiva caves nearby are also good.
Cleanliness in the food serving area and better care of small insects will add more charm to the place

Very good place, hot water, good and cheap food, fun swimming pool and very nice and good staff. excellent view from the restaurant ,sunset was awesome ....

The views of Kudle beach from the property are exquisite, and that is all Kudle beach resort had to offer. We were a group of five families traveling from Mangalore to Goa and checked in for an overnight stay. The rooms had a musty smell, the shower curtains had a layer of mold and the food was downright disgusting. Unfortunately, the staff's attitude and service levels didn't make up for the poor upkeep of the premises. I would not stay here again.
