The hotel is not at all up to the expectations.service quality was poor. Specially for Car Parking, was not expecting such worst experience! Room was not sound proof and very basic as per price charged,even washroom was not up to the standard.

Staaf is nice stay was good,healthy food,nice garden and parking facility,extra care for small children,and helping staff.we stayed four days and they really helped us in many different ways. Made our trip so nice and memorable.

Had a weeks stay here, and had stayed here in 2007 as well. In this trip to Ajmer, I visited a couple of other hotels that are well known- L N Courtyard and Data Inn.
Ajmer is a small town, so there is no high end or 4/5 star hotel there yet. Therefore presently, Mansingh Palace, with quite a few shortcomings is still the best hotel to stay within the town. There may be better resort options on the outskirts.
The best part about this hotel is its open spaces, large rooms and the spectacular view of the Anna Lake and the Aravali hills. Do select a room with these views, not ones facing the main road.
The rooms are spacious but lack a modern feel. The air-conditioning temperature cannot be set. There is no power point near the beds so we can't charge phones close to us. Hotel does not have WiFi. Beds are single and quite narrow, but otherwise comfortable.
Bathroom has a tub. There are only taps, not mixers, so getting the right water temperature takes time. The pot remained dirty throughout my stay despite complaint.
The restaurant Sheesh Mahal is very spacious. Choice of beer is very limited. Food is average-good but inconsistent. Breakfast has limited choice but is adequate for a basic meal. Omelletes made to order are excellent. In lunch/dinner options, chicken tikka in all varieties are good, but tend to be undercooked- we had to send them back for more cooking on two occasions. American Chopsuey is good, but again on first instance had to be sent back for improvement.
Service can range from lukewarm to helpful depending on which staff member it is.

This is the most terrible experience to stay at this hotel...the hygiene and sanitation services were pathetic....the reception was luke warm...there were no toiletries in the washroom....worst part was the presence of Rats in the room...overall a horrible experience...

We were here for the Squash Nationals being held at the Mayo College - Ajmer. The staff gave us excellent service & were very helpful with the kids. The place makes you feel very homely. Rooms are large, clean & tidy. Full Marks.
