We were looking for a place to crash for the night and found this reasonably priced home stay. The food was more than what we expected, one should definitely try the pork recipe. The owner was very pleasant and helpful, the bonfire too was a delight.

As mentioned in the title this homestay is situated in an amazing location and has the potential to be one of the best homestays in Madikeri. This place is a good option in case you are looking for an accommodation not too far from the town as well as the nearby attractions.
Pros
1) Very courteous hosts.
2) situated on a small secluded hill from which you can get some good views of the town.
3) close by to the town as well as some attractions like Abbey falls etc.
Cons
1) The owners need to fix the positioning of the overhead water tanks as the water pressure was very slow and took us 15 mins to fill a bucket of water. This becomes a pain when there are more number of people sharing a single restroom.
2) The approach road to this homestay is very narrow and steep because it is located on top of a small hill so you need to be careful while you take your vehicle up the hill

Awesome location, awesome food. Very courteous owners. Enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The place is very close to city center and landmarks.
Do request for campfire, coorg special pork food and you'll love it.

We were looking for budget room for 6 ppl with perfect location , we found misty heights . location is perfect rooms are good , camp fire is available.I would suggest order food from outside.Opt for cab suggested by misty heights,he is awsm guy.

Hi,
We have recently been to Misty heights. It was a nice place to stay and enjoy the beauty around the home stay. The owner "Anu" is so co-operative and she guided us the route and the good places to see. We enjoyed the place. We have been served the native verity food and that was also a different feeling. We felt the home stay was like our grany's place. Such a nice experience.The hospitality was really good. It was a nice stay. Why people wrote something else I donno.
