Here for my niece’s wedding and reception. The owners or managers are awesome people. Very down to earth and accommodating. The facility is beautiful and spacious. The special day went off without any issues. I would recommend this place to anyone for a wedding reception.
Two day vacation with seniors. Amish Country.

Very nice, quaint bed and breakfast. The owners were wonderful. Our breakfast included Scrambled eggs, Baked oatmeal, and Bacon, coffee, orange juice. Very good.My room was very clean, The bed was nice and soft. The one thing i didn't like was it was paneling.Like the old days. There is a big red barn there.Which we took a tour. This is where they have wedding receptions. A little far from the flea market though. Anyway very, very nice place.

Our son & now daughter-in-law had their wedding here this weekend. It couldn't have been more perfect! The owners were amazing, working with Eric & Ashley to have a perfect day. They were very accommodating and were always available. The B&B was wonderful to stay in, as was the delicious breakfast each morning. The barn wedding venue was perfect and rustic. I would recommend this B&B for any wedding, family reunion or just a quiet stay in the county.
Thank you Jesse and Kristen for a fabulous weekend!

This is a place to recommend!! The hosts are wonderful, the rooms are decorated nicely and are comfy, the house is idyllic and historic and the breakfast was great as well. Kristen & Jessie made us feel welcome immediately. The toll road was a bit close but didn't really disturb the tranquillity. I missed a recent Game of Thrones episode and Kristen let me watch it on their tv! <3
Pleasant Stay Overall

I must begin by saying how wonderful and accommodating Kristen and Jessie, the owners, are. I arrived to check in and Kristen was busy with a final meeting for a wedding, so Jessie escorted me to my room. Had the Orchard Room on the second floor of the inn. The room was simply appointed with comfortable furniture. The full sized bed was comfy. Would have been nice to have some sort of an armchair to sit it for reading, etc. There was a chair in the room but nothing suitable for reading or relaxing. There are three rooms on the upper floor of the inn. The entrances to all three are in very close proximity, but I was fortunate to have the only occupied room upstairs. Be advised, this is an old building (a former fancy restaurant at one time) so there is no elevator. The stairs are a bit narrow, but there are not many. If you have trouble negotiating stairs, I would suggest a room on the first floor.
On arrival, I opened the windows to let in the wonderful breeze. Noticed quite a bit of traffic noise from the nearby Indiana Toll Road (about a mile away). It was late afternoon, so I really didn't think about it too much.
The grounds are very pretty and there is a large deck with plenty of outdoor seating that overlooks the back yard of the property. Did some relaxing there after spending the day at the Shipshewana Flea Market.
Returned to the room around 10:00 to get ready for bed. Still a lot of road noise, more than earlier in the day. Closed the windows but could still hear quite a bit of the road noise. Fortunately, I'm one who travels with a small fan. Turned it on and that managed to drown out most of the noise. Not sure if the rooms on the first floor are quieter? Would loved to have kept the windows open but the noise was just too much.
Breakfast was served by the owners in their dining area. Places were set for each guest and Jessie greeted everyone with plenty of coffee. Breakfast that day was caramel pecan French toast with a side of bacon and a fresh fruit bowl with strawberries, grapes, cantaloupe, and blueberries. It was delicious!!!! Jessie and Kristen checked on everyone throughout the meal.
Overall, a pleasant stay except for the road noise. It is apparent that the owners have worked very hard to make the Patchwork a very nice place. Thank you Jessie and Kristen for a nice stay.
