Do whatever do not stay here. This hotel knows nothing about hospitality. Faced a lot of issues:
1. Tried to cheat us by charging double on laundry. I am attaching the original laundry bill. They reduced the price to 560 rs ultimately.
2. The restaurant smells so bad one feels like puking.
3. The staff is extremely rude and unaccommodating.
4. Constant disturbance in the room.
This is Kovalam guys. Many other better options available like homestay on the beach itself. Do make an effort to search and save your holidays.

I am on Kerala tour with my family. Kovalam was my last stop & this was my last hotel. What a terrible place. I do not even want to give it any star. People misbehaved with my family. How do they ruin such a good experience. We went last night as we made booking online. Rooms that were provided are so pathetic with bad smells all around. When we told them to shift the room, they simply told us NO. We tried to make some call arrangements but the guy that sits there (bald guy with spects) is so mean. He made our whole family wait for more than hour and also did not have any courtesy to ask us about our well being. We came from so far places just to be there like beggars. We didn't understand the language , must be he was so rude to his reception guys also. He threw our luggage out. We had to go on ourselves roaming the city to get any hotel. When my father told him - Thankyou for your rude behaviour, he didn't had any courtesy to say sorry. instead he said Thankyou. So pathetic behaviour from these guys. They made our whole kerala experience terrible. Would never suggest anyone , solo or family to go there. Nothing likeh hospitality you will find here. If you guys have self-respect, please don't go there, because the hotel guys do not have any. Terrible, Pathetic, Woeful, Miserable, Unsatisfactory.

While the sea view from our room was beautiful, the infrastructure was strictly average. The furniture, fittings, and cutlery seemed worn out. The hotel is located on a very narrow, steep slope and it's difficult to locate it at one go. Food was average. Breakfast was not quite good. Be careful of insects and lizards! I'd recommend this hotel to only budget travellers.

Room- Very Nice View of the Sea from the Room (if you are on Top Floor); Just open the Door and Go to Balcony and you can view the Beach, Sea from the same.
Only thing is, Lifts are till Third Floor only and after that you have to go using Steps.
Food- Very Bad; at least I/ We didn't liked it! Dining Hall is also average.
Good thing is, Beach is 500m away so near by.. .. . .you can view Sunset from the Room or from the beach; its scenic View.
Swimming Pool is there in the hotel which is good and to wash the sands away, ground floor there is an option.
Be careful about Mosquitoes (Good Mosquito Repellant is necessary to avoid that).....

We were booked here by the travel agency in Navi Mumbai who used Coco travels ..this is a three star budget hotel, thus you cannot expect more. Having said that I've stayed in the three star which are superb. The handles on the bathroom door are missing.. We were in 308..no sea view at all..
Acadia Hotel does work, but none of the staff who take u into the room work the TV, not do they show you that the hot water tap is to the right instead of the left side.. You're asked to run the water for a while till the hot water comes out.. So we ran it for 15mins after a v hard days travel n finally had to ask management to send a bucket of hot water.. I called by agency in mumbai n put the lady on loud speaker so the reception could hear.. Things were smooth after that.
Breakfast is good.. But the cheese club sandwich n soup are v average.. The word grill indicates heat.. But the tiny amount of cheese wasn't melted at all.. For these two items I paid 345/a bit ridiculous!!
The location is far from the city so an autodriver will charge 600/to take you to the city center to see Padmanabhi temple..
The reception organize the Rickshaw man.. It's good to have that as they know the person.. I. Like that. Didn't want to use my taxi driver as he was tired!
If I want a beach stay at reasonable price id stay here n eat wherever I am..
