Visited Chikmagalur in May’17. Its around 5 hrs journey (250km) from Bangalore. The road is nice and hence a good driving experience. Inside Chikmagalur too the roads are good as compare to the hill station. The town is well developed and has most of the facilities, hotels, hospitals.
The hotel seems to be newly built as seen from the inside out of the rooms. The standard room which we lived in was a small room accommodating two beds clubbed together, a small table, a chair, TV and attached washroom. All basic amenities were there and I believe at that cost it was good and as required as you don’t need much space as normally it’s a weekend trip with minimal luggage. The staff was good but you rarely encounter them. There is no restaurant in the hotel but there are many good hotels in the surrounding for veg and non-veg both. When asked we were given a map of Chikmagalur and also guided us on what can be covered in a day. If you know Kannada then its good or else one has to manage in a bit of Hindi and English as I did. The hotel has a lift for upper floors. The parking is available in front of hotel. It is centrally situated, walking distance from the main bus stand. Couldn’t find a AC room but it seems they can provide one if required as some extra cost, though its not required in most of the seasons.. TV and cable was working fine.They had given us a printed map of the place which helped us to plan our travel.

Very nice hotel.The rooms were maintained very clean.It's value for money. No restaurant in this hotel, but you can find so many restaurants near to this hotel. finally we had very good stay at this hotel.

Value for money lodge. No restaurant. In 4-bedded room (#304), there is no proper ventilation. Because of this, the room stays very hot in summer (Apr, 2017), which affects the night sleep. No parking lot. Just behind the bus stand. After calling 5 times, person came for cleaning the room but asked Rs.20/- separately. Plenty of RO water available for drinking. But, they don't bring the water to your room but you have to fill it up yourself.

We have booked this hotel in advance via Goibibo.com, We feel the value paid for the 3 days stay in this hotel is less for the good quality of rooms they have provided us.
