Clean rooms. It has beautiful swimming pool with the view of back waters. And hotel n rooms r surrounded by trees and back water canals. One of the best hotel in kumarakom. Tariff is reasonable. Restaurant has gorgeous view.

i recently visited this property ,wooden rooms made the look more and more beautiful. i definitely suggest my friends and collegues for this property..tariff is also affordable.. need to follow up mainentance.i didnt stay there but i enjoyed the time that i spend in the resort.....

I had heard a lot about this resort from one of my friend, I was too excited for amazing experience. Blow are few things I felt not happy with:
1. Reception service was not good. We had to wait for 30mins just for reservation verification, they did not appoint any one to guide us towards our reserved room. They took next 30 mins to send our luggage to our room.
2. Very poor room service. I had to call them multiple times just for a water bottle.
3. Service at restaurant was not good. They looked a bit ignorant towards providing service.
4. Canal water was stinky.
5. Lake view rooms looked pretty good, do not go for canal view rooms, you don't get to see any beauty
6. You get to see few birds, really very few even though they claim it as bird sanctuary
The only thing I liked was it is away from any kind of air pollution, sunset view was good.

1. Beautiful Property and Great Location.
2. Need more maintenance because dirty smell from canal are coming.
3. Bird Sanctuary near to the resort is good.
4. Dinning area of the Hotel was awesome.
5. Hammock just below the cottage added luxury.

This is great property by KTDC. it is for the nature lovers. It could have been maintained slightly better but I won't mind that as it's difficult when you are around nature. We visited here in November and stayed for 2 nights. This is a large property with a great view, a bird sanctuary next to hotel. You don't need to go out much, if you are a nature lover. You can enjoy the pool or just roam around or read a book. Great experience.
